Dining and Drinking in the Haberdash Neighborhood

Haberdash and the new EDC project are located in the heart of River North and, after you have worked up an appetite from shopping, you should take advantage of some of the tasty finds within walking distance to the stores’ front door. Just a few feet away, grab a sandwich or some housemade soft serve at Grahamwich, the approachable, lesser-expensive spot from celeb chef Graham Elliot.

Want something a little, um, meatier? M Burger‘s second location is just across the street from the shop and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better, gourmet quick-serve burger anywhere.

If you get thirsty, sneak away to Pops for Champagne for some bubbles, or head to its lower level to Watershed, where you’ll feel like you entered a really cool neighbor’s basement, complete with a number of local spirits and beers.

If you’re in the mood to mangia, two great spots are just up the street: Osteria via Stato and Quartino, where you can get robust servings of housemade pasta and crispy-crust flatbreads. Best thing about both spots? The Italian wine lists are extensive and pretty affordable.

And then when you just want a quick froyo, look for the line streaming out of Pinkberry, the SoCal import that people are still crazy for, despite the number of other froyo joints around town.
