Get Your Holi-Dose at Dose Market

This Sundat at River East Arts Center

Dose Market is a once monthly gathering at the River East Arts Center, where any and all are invited to get a taste of the city’s finest offerings in food, furniture, and fashion. It first landed in Chicago this June, and has captivated the city’s tastemakers, one dosage at a time.

As with most things in my life, it didn’t happen unless I captured it on Instagram. Here’s just a few of the things I’m looking forward to at this Sunday’s (12/4) Holi-Dose.

The market’s creator, April Francis, shows off her new Dose tote.

Pendleton’s Chief Joseph pattern gets a makeover courtesy of the brand’s new Portland Collection.

Steve Evavold from Division Street Watch Co. is smiling because he designed his new Horween Shell Cordovan watch bands, which are 100% Made in Chicago and will soon be available at Buckshot Sonny’s.

Speaking of Buckshot Sonny’s, they are introducing a special selection of Chicago-centric T-shirts from Columbus, Ohio’s HOMAGE.

Rest assured, this weekend, I’ll be sporting my 1985 Surf Ohio T-shirt.

To fuel my shopping spree, I cannot wait to savor the Honey Butter Fried Chicken from the masterminds behind Sunday Dinner.

And I’ll eat that chicken on these Fredrick Remington plates featuring sketches of America’s great frontiersmen from Vintage Queen Lisa Spagnolo’s new collection, Dinner Party.

After all that shopping and eating and shopping I’m going to need a drink, and as my buddy Sam will tell you, Dose’s Death’s Door gin cocktails taste best when sipped from a hunter’s orange Kool Kan can koozie.

After you’ve hit up Haberdash for all your man’s holiday needs, get over to the River East Arts Center this Sunday and get your dose of Chicago’s finest offerings.
