Stumptown by Danner

Danner, the heritage footwear company that’s been keeping outdoorsmen and workers well-shod since 1932, unveiled its Stumptown collection in August 2011. The Portland-based company, ever mindful of the importance of history, cribbed the title from Portland’s nickname as a city developing so rapidly in the 1840s that buildings were going up even as the tree stumps in the ground remained. The boots in the Stumptown series will be refashioned classics, built by hand in their Portland factory.
