Haberdash Previews Spring/Summer Collection with Big-Name Culinary Talent

April 27, 2012  By Brigid Sweeney

Last night, River North men’s boutique Haberdash hosted a party to celebrate its spring/summer collection, as modeled by prominent local chefs and restaurant owners.

“It’s a great time for menswear, as well as a great time for food, especially in Chicago,” said co-owner Jerry Kamhi — who, along with partner Adam Beltzman, is gearing up to launch Haberdash’s e-commerce by summertime.

The models/chefs, who sported everything from an $848 LBM1911 suit jacket to $100 blue suede Nikes, were shot in their own restaurants.

The 10 featured chefs include Richie Farina (Moto), Curtis Duffy (Grace), Merlin Verrier (Graham Elliot) and Martial Noguier (Bistronomic).

Brands also include Alden shoes, Baldwin denim and Gitman Vintage shirts.

Each “model” also added a personal recipe, ranging from roasted Amish chicken to a simple sage-and-gin cocktail.
