Apparently chefs and restaurateurs are the new rock stars because local men’s retailer Haberdash tapped 10 of Chicago’s most fashion forward guys to represent their new spring/summer look book titled No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service.

Haberdash styled and photographed each guy—Donnie Madia (Blackbird Group), Merlin Verrier (Graham Elliot), Curtis Duffy (Grace), Richie Farina (Moto), Dale Levitski (Frog N Snail, Sprout), Matt Eisler (The Trenchermen, Nightwood), Paul McGee (Lettuce Entertain You), Martial Noguier (Bistronomic), David Blonsky (Public House) and Craig Cooper(Pops for Champagne)—in his own restaurant or bar and in his own element.

The guys were outfitted in various styles found at the shop like LBM1911 jackets, shirts from New England Shirt Co., Alden shoes, Oliver Spencer ties, Tanner Supply belts and bracelets and more. No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service will get its public premiere on Thursday April 26 during a party at Haberdash (607 N. State) and Haberdash EDC (611 N. State) with cocktails supplied by Olmeca Altos tequila.

The limited-edition look book, which will reveal full-length photos of all the men (as opposed to the teaser head shots in the above gallery), also includes recipes from each chef or restaurateur, including Levitski’s croque monsier; Duffy’s ramp marmalade; Madia’s salsa crudo di Pomodoro; and McGee’s rum old fashioned cocktail.

Want in on the action? It’s open to the public from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 26, but you have to RSVP. Get there early if you want to snag a book. At this point, about half of the, ahem, models will attend, but who is still a bit of a surprise. That’s so rock ‘n’ roll.
